Overwatch is a team-based online game published by Blizzard Entertainment in 2016, usually played as a first-person shooter. Overwatch features a number of different game modes, and after being so popular, it was announced as a sequel. Overwatch 2 will be released on October 4, 2022. This isn't exactly a sequel, the game is more of a re-release of the first Overwatch. The original game was replaced by the new Overwatch 2. As such, Overwatch 2 aims to share a common PvP environment with its predecessors, while introducing more useful and fun modes.

About Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 is a hero shooter where players split into two teams and choose a hero from over 30 character bakers. Characters are divided into three different categories. The first is the damage class, responsible for offense, the second is the auxiliary class, responsible for buffs and healing, and the third is the tank class, responsible for protecting the team. Overwatch 2 will include many new heroes, maps, and more. PVE won't appear in Overwatch 2 on October 4th, and it will likely get its date later.

Overwatch 2's new heroes

Blizzard Entertainment plans to introduce three new heroes to Overwatch 2. The names of these heroes are Sojourn, Junker Queen and Kiriko. Each character has unique abilities, depending on their class. Skills include active skills, passive skills and ultimate skills.

Sojourn: Sojourn is the first new hero to be part of the damage class. Sojourn is a highly mobile marksman who uses an assault rifle to charge and release energy. Sojourn can be a difficult heroine for some players as she requires accurate aiming, as the more accurate the aiming, the more effectively the player will use their railgun. Sojourn is an excellent leader and is known for her discipline.

Queen Junker: Queen Junker is the second new hero belonging to the tank class. Queen Junker is a melee fighter with a high damage shotgun. Queen Junker can use her throwing knives to pull enemies towards her, stealing the health of opponents mauled by her axe. As her name suggests, she is the queen of Junkertown, and every Junker is afraid of her.

Kiriko: Kiriko is the third hero in the support class to be introduced to Overwatch 2. Kiriko is a cheeky heroine, which means she's full of energy. She has a witty sense of humor and isn't afraid to make fun of people, no matter the situation or type of person she's making fun of. She can channel a barrage of healing spells to her teammates and teleport directly to them, even through walls.
